Daisy at Barnstondale: March 29th, 2008; Daisy UK and the Barnstondale centre on the Wirral held a 4-day Sports festival over the Easter holiday for Disabled children and their family and friends. This was a fantastic success with everyone taking part in indoor and outdoor activities, Sports such as, New age Kurling, Goalball, Football, Cricket, Wheelchair sports, Climbing, River crossing, Orienteering and much more were enjoyed by the children. Mist at Cardinal Heenan: March 29th, 2008; Daisy UK recently ran a Mist (Merseyside Inclusive Sports Tournament) at Cardinal Heenan Sports College in which 60 children with various Disabilities participated in fun and competitive sports. Daisy UK would like to thank Berry bridge Housing and Alison Egan SHARP youth sport co-ordinator for sponsoring this event.
